Lies I Tell Myself

Every time I feel the walls are closing in,
and bombard myself
with sorrow and no guidance on where to begin,
I lie to myself.

A little paradox, I know,
but when my own thoughts,
make my mind freeze,
negative beliefs start
spreading like a disease.
